Wicks Entertainment is a media and management entertainment company, producing theatrical films, episodic television, designed to impact culture with a positive message utilizing top industry talent. We also manage and promote live dynamic speakers and commentators.

Rick Oates

Chief Financial Officer

Rick has over 25 years in the film and theatre industry. Working both as a writer and in production as a camera operator, not to mention over 700 performances in live dinner theatre affording him a unique perception of the thirst for entertainment most people seek.

He has been involved in the entrepreneurial business aspect and brings organizational skills to the firm. He has been an integral part in the creation and startup of several businesses and is the driving force behind a large construction firm building their national transportation arm to service their many projects, including the construction of several NFL and pro sports stadiums.

Rick is a published author of a fictional book series that has been optioned for a future feature film series. The first film of the series is currently in pre-production.

Rick and his wife, Eliete reside in Allen, TX with their 16-year-old daughter, Lauren. All are active in their local church.

Kelly Wick

Co-Founder

Kelly’s entertainment career dates back to early work on various commercial projects like the Family Channel sitcom “Big Brother Jake” in the early 90’s. He then managed and promoted Christian musical artists, coordinating with national speakers and concert tours.

He later formed a comedy team, where he wrote and performed allegorical biblical messages for a decade to hundreds of thousands in live stand-up performances.

I started working for the family business when I was ten years old, and have been working ever since. My background is primarily in payments but earned my “stripes” in various business types and verticals over the years.
